Charter Cable TV Technology

Cable TV is available to millions of people across the US. This form of TV is made possible through the hundreds of thousands of miles of coaxial cable laid down by various cable companies. You can't get every cable TV provider everywhere - in fact each household only has the option of one - maybe two. Call us today to see if Charter is your local provider. With the coaxial cable, the cable TV company can allow you access to their TV and internet signals which are encoded on their end and decoded on your end (by TV tuner or modem). The advantage of many cable TV companies is that you can often bundle internet and phone for a great savings. The disadvantage of cable TV technology is that it is geographically specific - that is you need to have the physical cable hooked up to the network for it to work properly. Satellite TV Made Simple

Satellite TV offers consumers the consistency they may be looking for in their TV service by using their orbiting satellites to beam the same material across the country. What you see in Boston will be the same as what you see in Los Angeles (with the addition of local channels of course). These satellites make it so hosueholds don't have to rely on coaxial cable. The broadcasted signal allows for satellite TV to be consistent. It allows you to be able to move to wherever in the US and make you able to retain the same great service. No matter where you are, your satellite dish can be aimed at an orbiting satellite to receive the signal. Your receiver decodes the television signal and sends it to your TV. Satellite doesn't rely on tons of cable spread over miles as satellite's wireless system is always ready to bring you what you pay for when you want it. If cable is not an option for you, check out satellite! Heck, even if cable IS available to you, satellite TV has some amazing deals waiting for you!

Internet TV

Wonderful, but not without its flaws, online television is probably the most engaging way to watch your entertainment. With thousands of movies and TV shows, streaming TV providers such as Hulu and Netflix provide viewers with flexibility unseen among other forms of broadcasting. Watch movies when you want. Watch your TV shows when you want. Forget about renting DVDs from the store when you can get so much incredible TV for ridiculously low monthly prices. The caveat here with streaming TV is with newly released material - new shows, new movies, new specials, etc…. If you are looking for newer material though, you may be out of luck. Most streaming providers have lag behind cable TV or satellite TV when it comes to airing new TV shows. Hulu is a little bit better than Netflix at this but it is something to consider when choosing a streaming TV option.

TV Choices - The best choice in Charter TV for you!

Terms such as streaming, HDTV, IPTV, HDMI, coaxial and so forth can be confusing. Equally as confusing as the entertainment providers who use them. Who provides what again? Which one do I plug where? Most of these providers have the same content - the same channels, the same TV shows, the same movies. We can help you wade through the details to get what you ultimately came here to get: TV. Call TV Choices about Charter Bundles in Stamford, CT at 1-888-516-2556 to get the clear picture!
